Case study
Two 400kW ultra-rapid chargers, energised off a private on-site 66kV network.
Gigawatt Industries delivered two 400kW Zerova DQ480 ultra-rapid chargers at Rotherdale Farm for Vale Green Energy, drawing power from the site’s own private 66kV network, fed by its existing 20MW solar and anaerobic digestion plant, so no DNO connection was required.
Our scope covered installing the client-supplied feeder pillar and both chargers, cable gantry and LV cabling, earthing and bonding, ARMCO impact protection, bay marking, and testing, certification and commissioning through to energisation.
2× Zerova DQ480 ultra-rapid DC chargers (each run at 400kW).
Powered by the client’s private 66kV network, no DNO connection or metering required.
Feeder pillar installation, LV cabling, earthing/bonding and ARMCO impact protection.
Full inspection, testing and BS 7671 certification, coordinated with Zerova commissioning.
Delivered for Vale Green Energy.
