A shopping-centre car park, transformed.
Gigawatt Industries partnered with PoGo Charge to transform the car park at Mid Kent Shopping Centre into a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging hub. As the principal contractor, we delivered a turnkey solution that drew on both our civil and electrical engineering expertise.
What we delivered.
The project installed eight ultra-rapid PoGo Touch charging points supported by a Schneider Electric feeder pillar and a robust cabling and ducting network, all designed to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

4× 200kW PoGo Touch charging points, ultra-rapid EV chargers with user-friendly interfaces.
4× dedicated power units, each charger supported by its own power unit for optimal performance.
1× 1600A Schneider feeder pillar, advanced metering, surge protection and earth-leakage safety.
NAL STAKKAbox foundations and retention sockets, durable, modular cable management and secure installations.
10× bollard protection barriers and a 7m split barrier, protecting chargers and improving site flow.
