What we do

More than just chargers.

We design and build the complete power and charging solution, one that keeps you running, scales with your fleet, and fits your budget. So every vehicle’s charged and ready, every shift.

Book a site charging assessment See what your fleet could save

Growing your EV fleet?
We’ll power it.

As your fleet grows, the charging has to keep up, and the challenge isn’t the chargers, it’s the power. Whether your site has enough, how much more you’ll need, what it’ll cost, and getting it installed whilst keeping your fleet running.

We handle all of it, from first look to switched on: we calculate your power requirement, design the charging around how your business runs, install it turnkey without impacting your daily operation, and help you obtain grant funding. One team throughout, so your fleet’s always charged and ready.

Hardware-agnostic

You choose the hardware.
We make it happen.

We’re not tied to any one manufacturer. Specify the chargers that suit your site and operation, and we’ll design, connect and install around them.Already have chargers on site? We integrate with or upgrade the existing hardware.

Who we are

Technical expertise, built for UK fleets.

Most charging projects stall in the gaps between contractors, and the delays land on you. Gigawatt closes those gaps, delivering the whole job in-house, so your site goes from first look to switched on without juggling five suppliers.Power connection, civils, electrical and storage from one team, right across the UK. Founded in 2022 by three directors from the power and EV-infrastructure industry.

Our process

Built around how your fleet runs.

  1. Assess

We survey the site and work out the power you have and the power you’ll need.

  2. Design

We design the charging around how your fleet actually runs: routes, dwell and turnaround.

  3. Plan & fund

Firm costs, a realistic timeline, and grant application assistance.

  4. Build

We install and commission it all in-house, minimising disruption to your daily operations.

  5. Switch on

Energised, tested and handed over, with team training.

  6. Maintain

We keep it running: monitoring, servicing and support, so it stays reliable.

Common questions

Any questions?

Can you work with the chargers we have already chosen?

Yes. We are hardware-agnostic and install every major brand, Kempower, Alfen, ABB, Pod Point, alpitronic and the rest. Specify what suits your operation and we design and build around it. If you have not chosen yet, we will talk you through what fits.

Often, yes, though not always. It depends on your existing supply and how much charging you need at once. Establishing that is the first thing a site charging assessment does, before anyone commits to a design.

We survey the site, check the existing supply and available grid capacity, and look at how your vehicles actually run: routes, dwell time and turnaround. You get a view of what the site could support and a realistic programme. No obligation attached.

There is government support for charging infrastructure, and what qualifies changes from year to year. We will flag what currently applies to your site as part of the assessment rather than guess at it here.

It depends almost entirely on the grid connection. Where the existing supply is enough, installation is measured in weeks. Where a new or upgraded connection is needed, the DNO process sets the pace, which is exactly why we handle it as an ICP.

Yes, all of it in-house. Groundworks, foundations, trenching, ducting, cabling, switchgear, substations, then testing and commissioning, under one programme and one point of contact.
