Gigawatt Industries delivers ICP grid connections and EV charging infrastructure across the UK, from design and installation through to energisation and ongoing support. We work with businesses, landlords, asset owners, and charge point operators to build reliable, practical infrastructure, designed to scale as demand grows.

Our mission

To power the future of sustainable energy and transport, building the safe, reliable, high-quality connections that get Britain moving on clean power.

We bring ICP grid works, civil engineering, and electrical installation together under one roof to deliver true end-to-end infrastructure, accelerating the UK’s journey to net zero, one connection at a time.

Our story

How we got here.

From a bold idea in 2022 to an Independent Connection Provider delivering EV charging infrastructure across the UK. The milestones that got us here, and where we’re headed next.

1

Phase 01 · Foundation

2022

January 2022

Gigawatt Industries Is Born

Founded on a simple conviction: the electric future would only arrive as fast as the infrastructure built to carry it. From day one we set out to deliver bespoke, engineering-led EV charging for commercial and workplace projects, built to a standard that lasts.

April 2022

First Major Contract Secured

Within months of launching we won our first major commercial contract, an early vote of confidence that proved our approach and set the tone for everything that followed. It marked our arrival as a serious contender in the UK EV charging sector.

September 2022

Nationwide Expansion

As demand accelerated, so did we, scaling delivery across the whole of the UK mainland. Turnkey EV charging, wherever our clients needed it, without ever compromising the standards that earned us the work.

2

Phase 02 · Building Capability

2023 – 2024

July 2023

Bringing Civils In-House

We integrated civil engineering and groundworks into our core offer, closing the gap between design and delivery. One accountable partner, from the ground up, and complete control over quality, programme, and cost.

January 2024

A New Home to Grow Into

Growth needs room. We moved into larger headquarters purpose-built for our next chapter, giving an expanding team the space, tools, and environment to keep raising the bar.

3

Phase 03 · Scale & Accreditation

2025 – 2026

March 2025

ISO Accreditation Achieved

We earned ISO accreditation, formal recognition of the disciplined processes we had built from the start. Proof of our commitment to consistent quality, compliance, and continual improvement on every project we touch.

July 2025

Becoming an ICP

We became an Independent Connection Provider, taking the most critical, and often most constrained, part of any project into our own hands. As an ICP we deliver grid connections directly, giving clients real certainty on programme, quality, and safety.

January 2026

Building for the Long Term

We invested in the people and capability to match our ambition, deepening expertise and strengthening delivery across the business. The foundations are set, and the best of Gigawatt is still ahead.

We've come a long way, but the best is yet to come.
