A high-power hub at a Leeds leisure destination.

Gigawatt Industries delivered a high-power EV charging hub at Cardigan Fields, a busy leisure and retail destination on Kirkstall Road in Leeds, for RAW Charging. The scheme was built around a new HV point of connection, with the civils and electrical infrastructure to support a large bank of DC and AC chargers across the car park.

Fourteen charge points, three ratings.

In total the site provides fourteen charge points, six 150kW HYC150 ultra-rapid units, three 50kW HYC50 rapid units and five 22kW CP6K AC units, giving visitors the flexibility to top up quickly or charge while they shop, eat and unwind. The project was delivered end to end and taken through to energisation, with EV bay marking and signage completing the works.
