Project overview.
A southbound hub in its own right.
On the southbound side of Westmorland's Gloucester Services, Gigawatt delivered a second full turnkey ultra-rapid hub for Evolt, a complete installation in its own right, mirroring the scale of its northbound counterpart across the motorway.
What we delivered.
Seven 150kW charge points, power units, an LV feeder pillar and all supporting civils and cabling were installed on the southbound carriageway, carefully sequenced around the live services to keep the site trading throughout.
One of a pair, its sister hub sits across the carriageway on the northbound side.
One corridor, both directions.
Delivered alongside the northbound hub, the two installations together provide 5.6MW and 14 ultra-rapid charge points across both carriageways of the M5 between junctions 11A and 12, complete coverage for traffic heading in either direction.
