Case study
Enabling civils and connection for a Tesla charging site.
Gigawatt Industries delivered the enabling civils and connection works for a new Tesla charging site at St Andrew's Quay in Hull, for Utilligence.
The scope centred on the point-of-connection route and cable pull needed to bring power to the site. Our teams excavated the trench, installed ducting and pulled the connection cables in, using directional drilling to cross beneath the busy retail-park surfaces where open-cut was not an option.
With the cabling in, the works were completed with concrete haunching and full reinstatement, kerbs, footways and surfaces returned to a clean finish ready for the high-power charging installation to follow.
