A nationwide upgrade programme.

Gigawatt Industries delivered a rolling EV charging upgrade programme across Holiday Inn hotels for PoGo, covering six sites nationwide, Haydock, Milton Keynes, Rotherham (Sheffield), Slough, Stoke and Shrewsbury.

What we delivered.

Across the estate we swapped out the existing DC chargers for new SWARCO Raption rapid units, one per hotel, from electrical surveys through to installation, connection and commissioning. Most sites received a 50kW Raption, stepping up to a 150kW unit at Stoke, while at Slough we carried out charger-relocation groundworks and full reinstatement. Every visit was coordinated around live, operational hotels to keep disruption to guests to a minimum.

Rolled out through 2026.

The programme ran across 2026, with each hotel handed over on a rolling basis as its upgrade completed, steadily strengthening EV charging provision across the Holiday Inn estate.
