What’s on site

Project overview.

A rolling upgrade programme.

Gigawatt Industries delivered a rolling EV charging upgrade programme across Greene King's estate for RAW Charging, spanning eleven pubs, hotels and destinations nationwide. Many sites were originally equipped with three legacy AC chargers on a DNO supply.

What we delivered.

At each site the programme decommissions two legacy units and replaces them with a single 50kW DC rapid charger alongside a retained 22kW AC unit, giving guests faster charging without new grid capacity. Each upgrade covers civils and ducting for the ICP works, DNO liaison, EV signage replacement, and full activation and commissioning.

Eleven sites, coast to coast.

The rollout ran across 2026 from The Castle in Goring-by-Sea to Chatterley Whitfield in Stoke and Chequers Castle in Coal Aston, a mix of historic pubs, hotels and visitor destinations, each handed over as its upgrade completed.
