The role
Gigawatt Industries is expanding, and we are looking for hardworking Electrical Labourers to join our teams on major commercial and workplace EV charging projects across the UK.
You will work alongside qualified electricians, assisting on site and building the practical experience and knowledge that leads to a career in the electrical industry.
Please note: this role involves travelling and working away from home up to 100% of the time.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting qualified electricians on commercial and workplace EV charging installations.
- Preparing work areas, materials and equipment ahead of the install team.
- Using hand and power tools safely and confidently.
- Following site safety protocols, RAMS and permits at all times.
- Keeping a clean, safe and organised worksite.
- Learning the trade on live infrastructure projects across the UK.
Essential
- Experience assisting on electrical or construction sites.
- ECS or CSCS card.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Confidence using hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and support qualified electricians.
- At least 1 year of driving experience.
- Based in Doncaster or within 45 minutes of DN11 8RW.
- Happy to travel and work away from home up to 100% of the time.
